Looks cool! I think the trip needed more young girls ;p. Wish mine could've been there, they would have had a blast.

Hey Jeff i headed up to chehalis this weekend with the family .wow it is amazing up there ,all the destruction. ,what trail did you guys use to go into it .did you have to drive your rigs over the logs dropped on the trail or where you able to bypass it . the trail in sure was muddy ,I guess it had rained quite a bit up there. we decided to set up camp by that spot where you and the girls where swimming .see your pics in post #5,6 ,i had to make your guys swimming area bigger .i spent the day cleaning up the shorline trying to make the beach area bigger. i think we had some bears in the night or something that scared the crap out of us , considering we where the only ones there.
it was a nice spot. the water slide is still in good shape and waiting for you guys to go back . no plastic on the slide so i didn't give it a try . heres a few shots of our trip .added to your thread .
i thought i would keep the chehalis pics in the same thread.

It's a communal thread, so post away :) The trail in we took was the one just before the Statlu bridge. It's quite short, the beginning of it twists through a lot of mud and narrow brush, over a couple old logs, and then down a nice 'country road', then there is a sort of path cut through the initial debris as you near the beach and river.

Nice pics guys, was a great weekend up there. Good to meet ya Jeff, glad everyone had a safe weekend.

No where else you can bring 30 of your friends on the august long weekend and not have to deal with anyone else other than the people you brought with you. Lets hope that the trail on the way in there doesnt get any more paved then it already is. Much more fun when its a bit wet out.

Slide materials are safely stored away waiting for another time. Sure was alot of work clearing that area and trenching out the slide - but judging by how much fun everyone had and the stories that are going around it was well worth it.

Sonny when you make some of those animated gif's send em my way, i'll pass them around to all the sliders.
