I'm having great success with my tweaked Blue fan clutch. I have a long highway haul at the end of this week with a trailer in tow. By then I'll probably have everything worked out on how to get your blue clutches working properly.
As of right now I still don't get a roar out of it, but it keeps the temps down where they are supposed to be and does this extremely well. I think the Blue clutch controls how much drive is transfered to the fan in a much smoother fashion than the Hayden and is ment to stay just ahead of the engine's needs instead of cycling on and off with a roar.
With mine and with other's, I'm convinced that it has been adjusted so close to where it needs to come on that there is no margin for error and we are seeing some error as the clutches are coming on a little late and causing high operating temps.
I wouldn't throw out that blue clutch just yet.
