OK UPDATE...i just ordered the BFGs in stock 275/70 size. If these rub i might kill myself. Anyways should be putting them on friday, so whoever wants a set of one week old 285/75/16 BFG A-T T/A KOs, please oh please buy them from me!!!!

You're doomed bro. Your post count is.... 666.

yeah....that was scary. Well At least todays date isnt the 23rd. What do i do if the BFGs in stock size rub? I mean i must have been close on the edge with the LTX's for just barely larger tires to fit.

Also, i need to order up new fender liners from toyota...unless anyone has some laying around. CDan and SinCity are yota parts guys right?

If those rub, you'd better just give both sets to me.

CDan is the parts shamain for sure. I don't believe Sin is though.

But Bull is an ARB dealer now...

sucks your buddys stock LC has 18s...If these next ones rub i might slit my wrists and need to have doc. jay stitch me up. They look fricking awesome and sound sweet when i push them to the limit...sound more like truck tires going OMGGGG then little puney car tires.

I compared the section width, overall diameter and all that other bs between the LTX M/S and the BFGs, and it looks the same in stock size, so it better fit. So my P-diddy spreewell spinnaz might cause a fricking headache and a half, but they look awesome with the BFGs.

loud, is this your new ride?:grinpimp:
100 lowered normal.webp

yo that last one, slammed and chopped like that.........would be sick! I would drive that.

He actually bought a used set of 16s and swapped his tires over from his Disco...

He's a convert.

Loud, still looking to move bfg's,might be traveling to delaware?

I think I finally figured out the wheels.

They're Oldsmobile Auroras?

no, Detata makes them...got them thru the dealer actually when we took delievery. Soooo those cheap bastards never gave us the stock wheels, thats the only gripe i have to say about my dealership. Everything else = top notch.

On the note of the tires, im going to be in DC for a Hot Import Nights carshow on the 21st of april. Im not taking my truck but if i can, maybe i can beg my friend to let me put the tires in her Benz GL450....just maybe. Otherwise, i could see about shipping them.

I ended up going with the OEM LTX M/S for now till i get some stock wheels. Besides, i dont need the BFGs till i get out to colorado next year. So i hope the LTX's are ok for some light trail use on the 31st...uhoh what did i do?!?

My wheels are like having a 2" spacer on. They dont rub under slower driving conditions but the way i make the LX lean and squat...they rub.

The only thing about after market wheels that would concern me would be the strength. The LX/LC is a heavy vehicle that can see severe service, premium tires and wheels are very important to me.

well, ive had these wheels since febuary 2000...and i probably drive the wheels off this thing a lot harder then most on this forum. Ok, SinCity has me beat but...yeah.

Anyways, just went thru a tank with the BFGs, 230miles on the odo and 22 gallons of fuel. With the 6% difference it comes out to 243.8 miles/22 gallons = 11.08 repeating. That was all highway miles!

That sucks, I get 14 around town and around 15-16 highway. But I have OEM tires inflated to Toyota recommendation.

That really does suck.I can get 300 out of a tank now(stock) and never thought that was great, but better than 240 something.Maybe i don't need 285s after all.

Suddenly, I am very happy with my freakin' Cooper tires.
