check engine light?

ok so I just put in a new clutch in my 2000 tacoma and now the check engine light is on, and the 4wheel drive light doesnt come on when I shift in to 4wheel drive. did I not connect the right wires? or is it something eles?

Have you double checked the 4wd switch wire? I don't think that would cause a CEL though......

Check o2 censor wire make shure its hooked up just double check it all. Run the code see what it is that will help also.

Take it to a local parts store, they'll check the code and that along with the no 4x4 light are good clues as to where to look.
