Ok, so I did a very non scientific test today to see how the intercooler performs.
I remember my intake pipe getting really hot after some pushing, so I the intercooler is in its place now, it should be getting not as hot if it performed well.
I drove in a mountain pass uphill for about 15 minutes at about 60-80 kmh (as fast as I could go on that road) and trying to be permanently on boost.
So when I came to the top, I stopped opened the bonnet and went to touch the intercooler as fast as I could. It was warm. I guess about 30ºC. I first touched it very carefully cause I was scared to burn my hand.
I don't know if that means much as I don't know how other intercoolers do in the same situation, but I believe it means that it works pretty well.
The outside temperature was 15ºC.
