Please forgive me - I'm not exactly sure how to start. I went to local Toyota dealer to check out a new vehicle and was surprised when the sales guy was excited to see my Landcruiser (hereinafter called my "truck") and he asked me about it. He told me about your site, and said he thought this truck might be of interest to people on this site. I'm the original owner and have had this LC serviced at the dealership for most all services. It has been religiously maintained. Has 311,xxx miles on it and is rolling strong. The dealership has commented that the vehicle is "tight" and not like most they might see this age that are all "loosey goosey" after having had sporadic maintenance.
It has had a few mishaps along the way but nothing that has affected the frame (as all who know this truck would likely guess). Rear end was impacted by a drunk neighbor when it was parked in my front yard (no airbag deployed) so lift gate and tail gate were replaced with used parts. I have the original lift gate that was damaged in the accident - glass is intact, but there's a curl on the the lift gate that made finding a used one easier to manage. The driver side door and front fender well were damaged by someone when husband was entering a street (no airbag deployed and damage was easily repaired). Another fender issue happened that was minor and was promptly repaired. There's no rust to speak of on the undercarriage but for a little bit of surface rust on the passenger side near the front passenger door. Paint in the picture is mostly original except for where had to be repaired, and it needs a new paint job. The leather is pretty good throughout with typical wear on front seats. Middle and back rows are exceptional. Carpet is rough. Was garaged for much of its life.
I dunno if this truck would be attractive to a buyer. I bought it in Dallas, TX. Drove it there for 6 years, and for almost 2 years in Indiana area. The balance of its time has been in Charlotte.
Can anyone give me thoughts on this vehicle were I to sell it? I didn't know people might look for this specific truck. And if you have thoughts could you give me a ballpark figure you might guess it should fetch? Any info appreciated!
