Well hope to start a thread on help to find and fix all the small problems with charging systems.
So my problem is the charging system on my land cruiser seems to not work.
Either I have my wiring horrible wrong to the back of the alternator or I have some other unseen wiring problem. So why I am having problems with the wiring is the previous owner didn't like the factory connections so I am missing quite a few. So my question is which wires and there colors connect to which post on the back of the alternator.

Ok some specs
New alternator has been test and provides 13.6 volts
New voltage regulator
My white with black line is connected to the E termanial
The white and green line connected to the F termanial
Last is a white and blue line connected to the N termanial

Please correct me if I am completely wrong on my wiring

have you checked the engine fuse in the fuse block? about 12 or so years ago, I took my PIG and wife and new son to the in laws for TGD. My FIL was drunk by 11am- a bit later than usual- and insistent that we try this new cleaner he got on my engine compartment. Me not wanting to get into it with him, appeased his desires and popped the hood. Astounded, by what must have been the sight of a straight engine block, he asked me what it sounded like. I jump in and fire it up. Before I can even take my hand off the key, he's spraying down the top of the engine with whatever snakeoil cleaner he was told to buy, just lathering it down...I just kept my mouth shut hoping to get a cleaner engine and not get him going-about ANYTHING-next he grabs the garden hose and starts rinsing the engine off. I didn't worry too much as the rig ought to be able to ford a river...fast forward to an hour from their house and and hour from mine, and the lights started to dim...it was the only time the pig will ever be towed off the side of the road. over the next couple weeks, I ditched the OEM alt in favor of a one-wire GM, because I could not get the factory alt to charge- even tho the napa said it was outputting...of course, when ignorant bliss is at the wheel, it is easier to swap part one doesn't know about to parts one knows about even without really figuring out how the mystery parts works (ala V8 swaps)I found the blown engine fuse a couple weeks after yanking out the OEM alternator. color me stupid, right? anyway, check the fuse...

Turns out I got a miss manufactured Fuse, I it didn't show it was burned out it was not connected to one end of the fuse, Charging system now works.Funny how a small part can cause so much confusion.
