Roger that; appreciate the simple rundown. So, I suppose I need to crack it open & figure out why the tank pipe doesn’t want to let air in.
 
One thing you can do (as mentioned in the FSM) is to run some high pressure compressed air through the tank port into the canister to try to force open and clean out the check valve. I'd try that before cracking it open, unless you want to rebuild it anyway.
 
Yeah, that‘s the plan. If that doesn’t work, wouldn’t be a bad thing to open it up for service after over 200k miles. Thanks 👍
