Chaindrive vs geardrive t case mount

I don't know if this helps but the Trail Gear plate crossmember is different between the 4 cylinder and V6. When I swapped my 22RE to a 3.4 I had to get the V6 crossmember for the T-case mounts to line up. It uses the same frame mounts in the same location. The location of the case was either too far rearward or forward. I don't remember which.
 
V6 chaindrive cross member is swept forward more than the 4 cyl gear drive cross member. Mounting holes are in the same location for both V6 and 4 cyl
