Yes it is alive. Pig project next aka. Cochon de Tere belched fire and came to life yesterday, just prior to all the lightening cracking and jumping around the hood. I picked up this sorry little piggie from Mr. Dozier via Ritchie....https://forum.ih8mud.com/fj55-classifieds-corner/162660-parting-out-76-fj55-pa-3.html. It had been pretty heavily parted by the time it was hauled home. Lets no speak of rust just yet. But alas, after scavenging all sorts of necessary parts over the cold weather months and a few weekends worth of futzing and a wiring diagram posted up in this forum a couple weeks back, it came to life yesterday. Many...many things left to be done but this little event as you know is always monumental. Some new brake lines, rear gears (Jeffrey !) this and that and this little piggie will be crawling on it's belly in no time. Once mobile around the used cruiser lot known as home, good things will happen to it much quicker. Thats all for now, just wanted to share that one more pig has escaped the worst fate and is going to become a somewhat productive member of the stye. :deadhorse:

Most excellent. There is no more enjoyable sound that that of an engine coming to life after weekends of futzing. Congratulations. Long may it last. Pighead shares your joy.:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:
