On our most recent club trip, we had a friend show up from the Island in his new 81 (same colour as mine actually), and his console fridge had the extra storage compartment on top, we well as the ice door and ice trays, that seem to be missing from so many.
His was 1991, so I'm not sure if that was some extra bling option or perhaps refitted in from a newer model?

Guys I posted to someone parting out, looking for the centre console fridge and was informed that the US market never got the fridge/icebox. I'm in Australia and I'm trying to get either a newer box as mine is sun damaged or get the later dual lidded lid that gives the extra storage.

I'm wondering if the double console lid can be adapted to used for the icebox lid. Can anyone tell me the measurements are of the double lid so I can work out if this is worth chasing up to modify.
