Center arm rebuild...where does the hard rubber/plastic washer go?

Using a "Joint Fuji" center arm kit from liquid. The OEM drawings (such as http://www.sor.com/sor/cat096.tam?xax=28211&page.ctx=cat096.tam) vs. the Haynes manual are ambiguous about where the tough, black 1/4inch thick washer goes. There wasn't one on there before, and the Haynes manual doesn't show one, but the SOR link does, between the housing and the arm. Seems that would also help drop the arm down a bit and help compensate for the shackle and spring lift a bit also. Anyone see a small black plastic washer between their pitman arm and the housing?

the sor picture on the right is the one like mine, and the sole ring between the case and the arm is the seal. My rebuild kit (from the local toyota imports place down the road (chinese i think)) didn't come with any plastic bits, but did come with both an oil-type seal for the bottom and a steel and felt-type seal, which i think was a u-choose deal. But the plastic spacer i would think would fit between the arm in its notmal position and the seal/case without relocation of the arm to a lower location. Maybe its to help hold the seal in when you pump it full of grease.

mine doesn't have the washer you're talking about, but i can see where it would go as mine has a bit of a gap between the housing and the arm. throw it in there and see if it screws anything up, i really doubt it will
