So just like it says, when I flip the key to the on position, before I engage the starter the CEL is flashing at me. Once started it stays on, but this is due to the bad O2 sensor that I have. Anyone have any ideas. Its a 97 model year.

What George said. Head to your local auto parts store and have them scan it. They usually will do it for free.

P0135 is the only code that I have according to my ultragauge .

I think I might have this figured out. Got in the truck yesterday leaving home depot ( 4th trip and mad as %^$ ) went to start the truck and nothing, not even a click. Needless to say that didn't help things. Got out, started playing with the negative battery cable and noticed the end was cracked in half. Anyhow, I got home and will be visiting the battery shop soon for a quality replacement.
