rich mountain? if so you will be disapointed, if so it was filled in and the upper part was logged and blockaded with felled tree's, last time I was up there Anderson creek was closed also (month ago maybe?)

hopefully that is not it

No no, I know about Anderson creek and Rich.

Actually, Amicalola Falls trail is/was just a back way into the Anderson Creek trails, with a few miles of trail before you got to an intersection with anderson creek.

Unfortunatly, its now closed as well.

I was up there almost exactly a year ago, after Anderson Creek was closed, and you could just make a left at the ranger station, and another left a little later on and after a while you'd be driving on some difficult trail, but this time there was a big gate across what was the beginning of the trail, and right behind it a sign that said "Bear Mountain" or something like that.

Needless to say, me and my buddies were a little P.O'd. We ended up running a little powerline rightaway trail off 400 for a bit, and headed on home.

2 weeks or so ago someone attested to the fact that you can use the ECT button instead.

Yes, the ECT switch will function the same as a CDL switch when plugged into the CDL harness on 93-94's. I had my front DS off all weekend and it works perfectly. The weekend before that I ripped a front swaybar mount off in Moab, that in turn ripped a front brake line. I wasn't sure how ABS would react to one front caliper in high range on the way back to town from the trailhead, so I used this method then too.

pole lines can be fun :)

watcha all talking about this ECT thing?
IIRC ECT is the Power button, no? If so, on my 97 it's a tiny button next to the 2nd gear start next to the xfer case shifter. Not the same on the 93/4?

1993/1994 models had the ECT button on the dash, not next to the 2nd gear start button on the xfer case...in fact...they didn't have the 2nd gear start button...

The ECT button (93/94) and the PWR button 95-97) do the same thing -- just different name in different location.

Don't know if the 91/92 had the ECT.
