I just came accross a 79 sr5 in a trade and to my suprise there was a cb40m in the dash were the cassette player would be, stock installed with out a doubt and best of all it works.
I know not many of these c.B. radios are around, what would one of these be worth???
Any Ideas???????????

I got one for about $100.00 of Ebay a year ago... Right after I won it, another bidder contacted me to buy it for more. I didn't want to sell it. So, I didn't bother to negotiate with him. Price depends on condition, demand, & marketing...

I personally think $100 is too high for one in average condition, but in my case... the condition of the CB was perfect.

Thanks for the reply, I am going to take it out of the truck and bench test it on a meter and see how well it it is. It seems to be in good working order.
