I’ll probably get one. There’s no build. Like over kill. And there on sale right now. I just need a regulator to drop it down to 4-6psi.

So the one for the 12v Cummings first gen 8-10psi will do with a regulator.

I’d still keep the factory fuel filter.

My injectors will thank me. Especially when running wmo/wvo fuels.

I agree, this is my plan as well, just haven't decided to spend the change on it yet.

Since I'm running black diesel this is why I got this system built

I do a lot of settling and I have a second toyota fuel filter that I run it thru. Before pumping it in my cruiser. 50/50mix with diesel.

Why not just run a fass fuel system?

Because the factory filter configuration is more than adequate for an engine that doesn't run a common-rail fuel system. a 1HD-## doesn't need fuel filtered to 2 or 5 microns.
