I have a CVT "soft" tent now, I love it! I've been looking at a hardshell. Definetly would be much easier to close up and you can leave some bedding and sleeping bags usually in these. hmm :hmm:
 
Anyone with a Mt. Baker here, that's mounted it to a roof rack? I have a Prinsu rack and with details pretty scant on the CVT site, wondering what hardware I'll need to procure before picking it up.

Curious about the hinge mechanism of the tent you bought @Hojack? The images on the website show more of an internal scissor type hinge instead of a single hinge axis like yours. Is the ABS model made differently?

Must be. I didn’t really look at the ABS.
After feeling the ABS I knew I wanted Fiberglass.
