Mike and I are planning on running Carnage on June 23rd. So far we are thinking we will camp Friday night, run Carnage on Saturday and camp Saturday night. Since we will have wives and kids we may stay at the KOA.

Feel free to join us or watch us.

It's still an absurd dream but even though we just got home last night I have silly plans in my head to make it! We have a wedding to attend on Friday night but I hope to spend the night on Saturday........stay tuned...

I fixed a broken leaf spring and in the process of checking out the front of the cruiser I found a broken hub. I have a couple of spares from the junk cruiser in the back yard so it took longer to clean the grease off than it did to put a replacement together.

I'm still thinking of removing the doors for the carnage trip.

I wonder if I'll ever get the doors back on?

Up to this point I have always said that my goal was to keep the cruiser road legal and water tight meaning that the lights all work and the glass and doors all work. Seems like I may have crossed that line?

I really am digging on the look! I will be loaded up today ready for damn early o'clock in the morning....if I don't make it I can just blame it on jet lag....

That's all fun and games in the 3 months of summer we get in teller county, but the rest of the year is gonna suck. I say you make half doors with your extra set, then at least you can keep floor heat in and boulders out in the event of a roll. Paint the half doors black bed liner so they look like canvas doors from a distance. Awesome.

wow!

Mike on the exit of carnage. Mike busted the right front wheel so we took a tire and wheel off my 60 and Mike took his Bronco the top of the exit. We then sent the tire back down the exit.....very funny to watch a 39" Krawler going 20 feet in the air...and put it back on my 60 so I could run the rest of the trail.

This is off the trail a bit and way back in Buena Vista. This is the coolest patio set I have seen. Its all tile. Notice the rug under the table that is also tile.
