Cargo Area Light - How to install one?

Scratch that last transmission...with all this talk I have decided to go ahead and install it. I'll post pics of the install in a few days.

I previously committed to install a front/center dome light in the rear cargo area and take pics and post here. But my dealer is telling me the frontt/center oak domelight is no longer available. Unless CDan tells me something different, this install is a no-go for me.

Oak is indeed gone, replaced by grey.

I have no idea where I read this but I read somewhere that there is a metal plate of some sort after the headline starts to turn down and slightly off to one side that the light can be mounted to. Does this plate noe exist or am I remembering correctly?

Anyway I have a 94 so I'm hoping the harness is there, then I'll have to fifure something out.

Does anybody know where the light is mounted on the non-US models?

For what its worth, I did finally find an oak colored dome light like the forward dome lights and installed it in the cargo area of my 1997 last evening in about 45 minutes. I'll post pics and info tonight.
