Hi all,

I've been searching around but couldn't seem to get any good hits on this.

I'm looking for the cargo area dimensions of the 200 with 3rd row removed.

For example on my 100, I have approximately 42" between wheel wells and 60" from back of folded second row to the tailgate.

I can measure for you shortly... but thought I'd mention that you get a MUCH longer back end with drawers, because you do away with the wheel well bumps, and it's basically even with the DOWN-folded second row seats...creating an extra foot and a half of space. Add that to no wheel well bumps and you can fit some long, wide stuff in there. Just not as tall, obviously, due to drawer height of about 12", but I find it a much more usable space.

FWIW, I sometimes still use my 470's cargo area Husky Liner in the 570. It isn't the exact shape/dimensions, but it is very close. I'd guess side to side the 570 is an inch or two narrower, and with the second row seats slid back all of the way, the same. With seats forward, more.

What the heck - I went and measured: min floor width between wheel wells ~40.5", floor length w/ seats back is ~46", seats forward ~49". With seats up and forward, ~66.5".

If you need any further info on dimensions that you didn't get from @FinallyGotOne!, let me know, I've got both 100 and 200 sitting side by side in my driveway.

Cargo Volume to Seat 1 (ft³) 81.7
Cargo Volume to Seat 3 (ft³) 16.1
Cargo Volume to Seat 2 (ft³) 43

Between the wheel wells measured on the floor 40.5" (narrowest part)

Back of second row to closed cargo door 45"

From the back of the front seats to the closed rear cargo door 79-80"

Thanks all!

Follow up here: what’s the height of the cargo area at tallest point. And what about at the lowest point (ie the interior height of the rear cargo hatch opening itself). Trying to understand with 11” ARB drawers how tall of an object can fit into cargo areas. TIA

To reiterate what @Hothonda said, our system for the 200 is 2.5" narrower and 1" longer than the 100 system. 200 - 40" x 40" vs. 100 42.5" x 39". We use every inch we can. The 200 does have more front to back space up top as well.

Hi all. Great thread. As people build out into campers/sleeping platforms etc, has anyone taken out the rear air conditioner to gain more vertical headroom?

@toddgriff There isn't an overhead aircon in the 200. It is in the left side under the trim. Removing it wouldn't impact headroom.

I have a 2003 100 series but if im hijaking i apologize.
Not hijacking, but this thread is in the 200 series technical forum, so most posts are 200 centric. I don't have a good answer to your question on the 100, as I never removed my rear AC when I had a 100 series.

Is the 100 or 200 wider in the 2nd row? trying to determine if I can fit 2 car seats and a medium dog with the second row all together with the arm rest down or removed.

Sounds like the 200 has more leg room in the second row than the 100

In the 200 the second row is more spacious. You should be able to fit the two car seats and the dog should easily fit lying down on the floor or even sitting in the middle seat.

My direct experience is with one car seat and two German Shepherds.
