How much difference is there between a '71 carb and a '78 carb? Is there much performance difference? My FJ40 is a 1971 (build date Dec '70) that had some engine parts in the bed (including a carb), but I've bought a '78 2F engine and it has a Weber carb on it. I've been thinking about rebuilding the OEM '71 carb and putting it on the 2F. What would you charge to rebuild it? Thanks.
