Carb Float

Hi Everyone,

I have a friend in town who is assisting me in rebuilding the stock carb for the '85 2F in my '72 Piggy.

During the process, we found that the float no longer "floats." I've enclosed a photo.

I need to find a replacement. Every part I've found online is difficult for me to tell whether it's actually the correct part.

Does anyone have experience in finding this part (and for that matter, other small parts like this)? If so, any guidance is much appreciated here!
