I am after a working carb cooling fan control box that will fit a '78.

I am after a working carb cooling fan control box that will fit a '78.

Let me hijack for a question.

Does anyone know about interchangability, or how to tell where this part hooks up? I've got a handful of green connectors, and probably some missing wiring harness parts.

I don't think I have a carb fan relay. I assume that's what you mean by 'control box'.

$OR shows $100 for a used '78 part down to $14 for a '80-'90 part.

I just called SOR, they have 4 in stock. I just lost out on ebay for one. Dang Ebay snipers! have 4 secs. left the bam, outbid. Went for $31.99, I had bid 30.99!

It is a silver box, with two ears on it where you bolt it. On one end it has a green female end of wiring harness. It has a sticker on it tht is blue and silver/chrome.

I forgot, on the sticker it says cooling...something, possibly relay

I have the part. It says COOLING FAN on it.
