I’m taking a trip (ABQ to Denver) to get a 71 GMC SW truck and was planning on using a tandem axel trailer to haul it back. Its a large trailer and not sure what the truck weighs. I have trailer brakes but no anti sway control for this trailer. What’s your thoughts?

Personally, I'd not sweat it. I've never really had any problems towing my tractor or car when loaded for the track. Granted my car is alot lighter than that truck you're going for but my tractor is probably comparable. You don't drive like that guy in the FJC forum that was bitchin' about his FJC being governed at 90 do you?

The reason I asked this question is because I called U-Haul and asked about a car dolly (not wide enough) I asked about the car hauler and they said my LC wasn’t big enough.
So thought I’d ask here.
Thanks,
DMX
Tad- its probably going to be a little snowy so I’ll keep it under 90.

Yup, u-haul gave me a hard time too. I told them that there was nothing small about a vehicle that weighed more than a suburban.
