I'd be curious as to how much they might be. A nice light aluminum military trailer would be a good thing.

There was 20 of them at an auction here a while back. They went for $375ea but the high bidder took the lot. If i remember right they all had swivel pintles on the rear so you you haul as many in a row as you liked.

Sounds like the same guy. Here it is if anyone is interested.
He was the guy who bought all that stuff from the British bases in Alberta.

I haven't been using my 101 much so I'm thinking of selling it. Pm me if interested

Sure Bruce,

I am out of camp till monday, but then back in probably for I don't know how long. I have told my bossess that I am taking three weeks off after this project is done, so I could buy it from you then, or I could swing by on my way home or back north during Christmas Break. I'll send you a PM to discuss more.

Cheers,
Deny

Hypothetically speaking of course, I would be more than happy to transport said trailer from Calgary to Fort St. John after Xmas if a certain 40 series suspension for Uncle Gord happened to be on board. Just sayin'... ;)

Anyone have any current info on where to find a trailer? Been watching the classifieds for a couple weeks now with no luck. Aside from some fool in Calgary wanting $1900 for a stock trailer.

Maybe he isn't such a "fool". It is basic economics of supply and demand.

Just keep looking on MUD Classifieds, BC4x4 sales section, CL, Used...., etc. In time they always come up for sale. If you absolutely have to have one now, then you can pay the "fool". ;)

I think Canucksafari is right on the supply and demand thing. The military doesn't have any more newish ones to get rid of. If we see any more they are going to come in small lots and with more damage. I think the current going rate for a decent one is in the $1500 range. I know of one near Prince George that is for sale for a little less than that. Interested parties can PM me for contact info.

pm'd ya.

I am having a hell of a time finding one somewhat close to the coast.
If the price is right I would like to make a little camper style set up.

Could be made into something interesting...

Still have it? still want to sell it?

he is wanting to sell it. I've inquired and hopefully I can get some good news:D
Only issue is I might have to make a trip from the coast to kamloops!
That might be the killer for me.

Yeah, I sent a pm but never got a response. If anyone has contact with dieseldaryl and knows if he still has the trailer and would be interested in selling it, could help out that would be great.

Cheers,

Kye

I finally found a trailer. It came with a original condition camo tarp, which I don't need because I'm putting a lid on it. I'd really like some rims for spares and if someone could work out a trade that would be great.

5 bolt. Here is a picture for reference of the rims i'm looking for. I was going to swap the hubs to the same as my tacoma but, from what i've read finding trailer hubs that will accept the tacoma steel rims is difficult. So I think I'm going to keep the stock rims and get new tires.

6 bolt or 5 bolt. I've got three military vehicle 16" 6 bolt rims. Two are clean and the other is rusty. All three have old bias plys on them. If you want them, they a yours for a bottle of a decent VQA red wine.

You read wrong. I just walked into the trailer supply place and picked them up. They came with new, pre-greased bearings and everything.
