Can you remove a 22r engine with the tranny still attached?

Cherry picker's solid for the weight, but will it fit? Curious about both 4x4/2wd.

Also, do you use the hooks on the engine (up top) to chain it up? Seems like it should go someplace else...

Sure, you will probably need to drop the crossmember under the T-case, but it should come right out after the drive shafts/shifters/and all the engine stuff is disconnected. Obviously remove the hood first.

Yes, those are what Toyota used to install the engine/trans/T-case assembly into the truck.

Much easier if you take the time to remove the front clip so you can slide the engine and trans etc... straight out the front and not worrying about angles etc.. It's a little more work, and yes it can totally be done without, but man is it easier when the front is gone. My 2 pesos
