Can you do the Ford solenoid on a mini?

yeppers....sorry it took so long to get back. Ya I like the idea of having that on the firewall for better access

You can, but in all reality, the starter solenoids in the mini's are very reliable. The only issues i have had with them is a lack of voltage in the wiring due to worn out ignition contacts.
