I noticed that my 85' 4runner power steering is stiff to turn left and right. Not totally not working just feels stiff. Is there something that can be adjusted to add a little boost from the pump or is there soemthing else I should look at first. I only have 30" tires on it so it should be this hard to turn with so little tires. I searched around but thats not a popular topic.

It's kinda a fixed output, it can be increased but it involves drilling out the discharge port orifice.
When was the last time the fluid was changed? Do you have ATF in the system? This is what is required. It won't run right with PS fluid in it, in fact this will eventually ruin the vanes in the pump.
