Can 7.5/16 tubes be used for 255/85r16 tires?

Was wondering how large a tire can a 7.5/16 tube accommodate safely. 7.5/16 tires are around 31" tall while 255s are 33". For split rims application. Thanks.

You can likely get the right size and more information from gemplers.com. I don't recommend any size than for what the are made.
