Campsite recommendations for an Arkansas Spring trip.

I'll be coming up from San Antonio to explore Arkansas this April, and I'm hoping to get advice on where to camp and explore. I've never visited before and am searching for a few campsites to disappear off the grid for a few days. Water features are a plus, but not necessary. I'll be pulling a small off-road trailer that has my RTT mounted on top. My Land Cruiser is mildly mod'ed with a 2-inch lift, 33-inch tires, recovery points, and a winch. No lockers besides the center. I'm not looking for anything overly technical, just a few decent campsites to enjoy.
In exchange, I can trade you some great camping sites along the national seashore in Texas, the Big Bend National Park region, and a few nice sites in the Cloudcroft area of New Mexico.

If cliffs carved by water count as water features...

Outside of Jasper Arkansas in the Buffalo River National Park, there were campsites that might fit your description.

I did not camp there ... but the wife of a friend (@shawnfj40) is on the NP staff supporting this portion of the park and they treated me to a day touring the park and the Jasper area.
Others here are likely to have more in-depth knowledge and background with this area, but I was impressed. Good luck with your trip.

Every one is the State parks offer different levels of campsites, with many of the primitive sites nestled close to water.
There's is nice camping and fishing at the buffalo river.

Last year we were more on the western side of AR and camped Devils Knob/lookout and areas around Ozark AR (Mulberry River/Redding Loop)
