Hi neighbours to the North :D

So we're coming up to invade the areas closer to you, our Alexander MacKenzie trip is coming up really fast (as some have been following). We're looking at possibly doing a stop just South of Quesnel on Saturday (24th) night, then going through town on Sunday and grabbing whatever we forgot there.
Anyone have a descent spots in that area that they can recommend?

Also, the MacKenzie trail should only take anywhere between 5-7 days (weather and trail conditions depending), after that we are checking out some trails around Anahim Lake and maybe even more West past Tweedsmuit. Below (at my sign) is the SPOT locator link I'll be using. If any of you are able to join us even in the later half you'll know where we'll be. My cell is 604.803.3506 but I don't know if I'll have reception. I'll find out what frequency Drew is running on his Ham and post that up here as well. More then welcome to join the trip.

Main thread is here

Thanks for any info you can give us.

The only camping I ever did around Quesnel is the 2 times I did Yanks peak/ Barkerville, and the one trip to QCC. all times we camped quite far from Quesnel, so it would be a trip in the opposite direction you want to go. But from those spots all were pretty cool, once camped on the shores of quesnel lake, and a few times on the quesnel river (twice in the quesnel canyon) and once further to likely on the southern side of the river, but all are atleast an hour east of the highway.
Cheers,
Deny
