There are comments about the quality of the plastic end fittings and the spring clips. I'm pragmatic, treat it carefully and don't bash it around.
I expect it to last a long time, and I'm sure if I have any issues, REI will come clean.

I'm pretty sure REI will exchange or refund any of their stuff for up to a full year. That's how people make out like bandits at their "garage" sale every year. REI sells all the returned stuff.

That's what it is all about... The drive there was the most eventual portion hence why it was documented!
