Went out this weekend to the Rockies west of Hudsons Hope, Carbon lake area. Got around to an arm of Williston Lake (you can see in the background of the Bronco in the alder photo) but couldn't get down to shore. Didn't catch any thing at Carbon lake (camped there) but found a cool sky ride that we had some good fun at.

Taupo - Carbon Lake is where we went wheeling once upon a time in the winter.

Deny - looks like fun. Can't believe you're hanging with Broncos.... Actually I can. You'll have to make sure to join us in August for the return to Tumbler.

:)

see any game out that way

Ran into a Moose and a B. Bear on the road, and saw a million piles of B.Bear crap on the road.

When August, August long we are going to Tumbler.

When in Aug is Aug long? Later in the month I suspect. Could be convinced to come along depending on what sort of trails we'll be encountering. Mr. G is my only ride at the moment and I can't afford to smash him up if I'll be unloading him sooner than later. Although, he will be receiving new paint soon....

Alternatively, we could have a work party at my place and get O through her inspection.:crybaby::bounce::cheers::doh:

Well, Curtis is going to come back up in Aug. and we're determined to explore the valley we tripped across when he's back.

I also made a promise to make a trip out to the falls as well as possibly go jet boating... although I've also got plans to go down to the interior to go jump off a cliff sometime in Aug as well.

Fun times. Too short of a summer. Hope we have a long autumn this year.

That sucks. What's wrong with Orange that it got VI'd? Not to say I'm volunteering to drive up and help, it's much too far to FSJ, just curious is all...

Oh, sounds like a good trip Deny. Didn't know you were into fishing.

Orange needs an OOP.

I could always set up my laptop on a table next to her with the webcam on and you could do some web wrenching with me if you want.

Yeah I fish, not very good, but I try the odd time;)

What type of fish are you talking about? The ones with fins or the ones with legs? ;)

That sky ride looks like fun! Be almost worth the 15 hour drive....almost :)

It was, but definately not 15 hour drive kind of fun (unless you were drunk. that woulda probably added to the shonanigans)

Looks like another beautiful spot.

CharChar (and others) I've got the wedding type deal of another cousin to attend the 29th of Aug, other than that, I should be flexible for coming back up. Pretty much decided over the last 3 weeks that it's time to start detaching from everything (school in particular) and start making fun the most important thing in my life.

Right now, my schedule is pretty free too, I think I have a ball tourney Aug 22, and August long I am heading down to tumbler area for a run with the locals if your up for that. Will be doing as much wheelin this summer as I can. Tryin to head down for Cruiser days this weekend, still not sure though.
