For back flushing the cooling system I mostly followed this write up.

If it hasn't been done you may want to replace all the cooling system hoses, including rear heater hoses and PHH (search MUD if you don't know about this).

I also switched to NAPA green after the flush (much on MUD)

Use a pressure bleeder for the brakes if you have one, you can borrow mine, if you need it.

No idea on mufflers but the shop on S. Platte is good.

No idea on paint protection

2.5" OME is what I did, fairly straight forward you can borrow my caster correction bushings jig. May want to read up on alternate kits, some say there are better ones out there. but supposedly you can run 37's with my setup.

... did you see that Luke

Have you done other baselining such as tranny flush, p/s flush, change diff and t-case fluids etc. the fun continues....:hillbilly:

sounds like you are well on your way. Really all those things are routine maintenance, the vehicle is 15 years old and look at the miles you have on it.

The power bleeder attaches to the master cylinder, you create pressure by pumping it then fresh brake fluid is forced through your system. Getting air out of the lines can be a pain for some :bang:

Pressure Brake Bleeder

If you windup buying Amazon and other have it cheaper.

The brown coolant you saw was due to someone doing an incomplete change or mixing. Very bad for the radiator from what I understand. I would flush it out asap. No hazardous waste issue. There is a place on 8th street that will take it for free. The brake fluid is the pain. Need to take it to county landfill for proper disposal.

Here is a good 80-series mechanic who is a Land Cruiser guy and was a charter member of our club -

Don at Bear Automotive, 591-5700. His shop is on Chelton Loop, near the Platte/Chelton Walmart.

Shoot me a pm and you can borrow my power bleeder.
