Well it was almost a year ago Cam and Jay ventured down to California through some of the worst weather.. They delivered a couple 1hzs and picked up a FJ62, originally it was to be a FJ60 and FJ62, paper work for the FJ60 was non existing so Jay ended up with the FJ62...

One armed bandit and Jay tore into the 62, getting it ready for spring over and a 2h TURBO H55 transmission.

Jay came up with the idea of putting the thirds in buckets on the front
ARB bumper mounts, when we removed the front axle the front up the truck came off the jacks..

Big thanks to George AKA Orangefj45 AKA Valley Hybrids for driving to the Bay and buying this truck on my behalf....thanks Bro, long overdue for us to have a few beers.

That thing is super clean! Nice to see this project moving along again. Can't wait to see it on the road...

Ya it is prolly the cleanest frame I have ever seen, factory paint front to rear on frame rails..

Spring over dirty thirties, cut turn axle marlin gusset kit,six shooter, ARBs front rear, custom sliders, skid plate, rear bumper...May cut the rear quarter panels for clearance(rust free quarters)rear bumper with swing out tire carrier, 2hturbo h55 and maybe a Black Box..

Looks like a great truck! Wagons are taking over the trails again.
Wagons rule, may get one myself....

Jay doing a little engine bay cleaning...

When my truck was on the hoist yesterday, I noticed the drive shaft was polishing itself on the front crossmember. I will be cutting and
clearing that now before it is a problem. I am curious what the solution will be with a SOA on the 60. Pics of how he modifies that cross member will be appreciated. I think Cam modified his as well, curious to see that. Is Jay going with double CV front and rear as well?
What wheels are those? I've not seen that lip around the hub before, or I guess that is for a smaller BS 2.5"?

Was the same in my 42, and 45...Big ol' notch.

Thanks George.....

Little cruiser carma....

Those boys drove through some of the worst storms in years, they earned it it..Jay and I owe Cam a few beers for doing the trek down...

This project may sit for a few weeks, Jay works out of town..

I told him to go over to pirate and look at Dons Skid plates slash transmission mounts, he wants to replicate something like that...

Kay,......we........sorry I removed the engine mounts and transmission mounts on my back, got re acquainted with a torch on propane..Got some practise with shaving the welds off, verse lots of grinding on my back, it all came back to me..

This truck thing brought back a memory of me installing a Denco Turbo on a HJ60 Dave Smitt had, they do not fit.....that was a big problem today or else the engine would be installed..

Be few weeks until Jay gets back at it tho...

Jay said he will throw up some pics
