BVSV Toyota pn. 90925-05046 'Pink' replacement (1 Viewer)

This is for a California truck built October of '86 - both BVSV on the thermostat housing need replacing.
Will Toyota pn 90925-05035 and 90925-05017 work for this application?

Check eBay for the correct ones. Used. While the thread fitting for those newer BVSVs may fit, their actuation temperature is likely wrong for the application (temperature verification to EGR and Choke Opener).
Both of those BVSVs are there to help a cold engine. Once the engine warms up they just pass vacuum - open valve.

The OEM part # is Cast on the back side of All BVSV 's pretty bold and easy to read ..

The two indicated for your vehicle are 90925-05035 and 90925-05046. As OSS indicated, they do open at different temperatures. The purpose is explained in the emissions manual:
