God this s*** cant come fast enough. Im a mosquitos wet dream the way they feast on me. Ive gone through a case of deep woods off with deet just this summer alone. I wonder when ill wake up with and extra arm or something, but damn that deet is amazing stuff.

This has been the worst year I've ever lived through with mosquitos. Even worse than when I used to live in Florida where the mosquito is the state bird. They must be evolving to be bigger and meaner.

Even when I'm not camping, just taking out the trash after dinner or standing in the driveway, you get bitten. Those of you in the northwest are lucky not to have experience this. Oddly when camping, I don't seem to have nearly as many mosquito bites.

I have them in my damn garage, I cant even work on my bikes or putz around in there, mow the lawn or like you said stand out in the street to BS with the neighbors without bug spray. Its that new tiger striped breed, agressive as hell and out ALL fxxxing hrs of the day.

I thought they looked different!

They are bigger and they look rather like that animated gif in the OP than I remember seeing.
Again, I lived in a friggen swamp with actual sawgrass and alligators for a long time and you just know that early morning and around the time the sun goes down, you don't go outside but this is any hour of the day and I have squashed no less than 3 mosquitos in the house so far today. And it has been fall-like weather here for the past few days. They are still active as ever.

I'm glad someone else noticed because people think I'm crazy. Especially without any encephalitis outbreak in the news.

Nope it definitely isn't just you. These are the new scumbag breed in the US
http://www.m.webmd.com/skin-problem.../asian-tiger-mosquito-could-spread-us-disease. And yes I get them in the car and in my house.

Yep. Those are the ones I'm seeing.

I was never a fan of the fogging they did down in florida but I honestly think I'm going to call someone out to do that. Especially if this species can survive the temperature swings of cool fall weather.

"Daytime feeding" yeah that says it all.

My seven year old got feasted upon last weekend while camping. I counted 38 bites on her!!
