Can i fit a 93 4runner front bumper on a 86 4runner ? has it been done Thanks

Our pre-runner front grille guard fits 1986 through 1995, so I don't think bumper will be an issue. I do think the bumper mounting brackets are specific to the bumper, so you would have to change bumper and mounting brackets. We have in fact swapped around bumpers in the 1986-95 window, but don't remember specifics.

I cant' say for sure, but I think the mounts would be about the same, the only issue I can see would be how it lines up with the body...
I tried something like this, i tried putting my stock 85 bumper on my 88. I thought it would work with it being the same body style. but NO...
The to upper mounting holes on the front crossmember were about an inch taller than the earlier model bumper. You might get lucky, but it seems like it would be even harder to match one from a different body style.
