Built a shed at the neighbors

Built a new shed at the neighbors.

Dug and poured the footings last weekend.

Lumber showed up on Wednesday. Was able to get 1 upright up Friday night.

Uprights installed and braced plumb. Beams installed and checked for level.

Progress in the rain was a bit slower than planned as more bracing was added.

Not bad for starting at 8:00am in the rain and stopping at 1:30 for lunch.

Was able to get some more work done on the shed. For those who have built one, we are in the process of hurricane straps, blocking, facia and stringers for the tin roof.

Also got 2 of the walls up.

Time to get more material and start on the back wall.

Um...You and I have significantly different ideas of what a 'shed' is.
Looks like you could fit a small plane in there or a couple large RVs.
Either way, looking good.

The shed will be used for his pontoon boat and his 32' fifth wheel camper.

We put the tin on the roof but had to order 8 more sheets.

Very Nice. I'm planning on building a carport (22' x24') for one car, my 18 ft bow rider, and my utility trailer. Thinking of doing a simple post and beam affair.

Back wall is in and it is painted.

Somehow we ended up short 8 sheets of tin roofing. It was supposed to be in last Wednesday.
