Howdy folks!

Final price drop: $10,500 firm.

After much soul-searching and discussion with the financial manager, it doesn't come as much surprise that I really miss racing, and the way for me to get back into it is to sell my 1973 FJ40 to fund a car purchase. I really wish I could do both, but this is going to end up just sitting and not getting any love, and that's just not fair. So, I've decided to sell. I've owned it for just over 2 years, and have been daily driving it for the full time.

I'm asking $10,500, firm. Anything less and I'll keep it, park it on the side of the house and drive it occassionally. Please give me a call at 720.270.2147 or drop me an email at ianacole@hotmail.com with any questions.

Below is the build list. Last September I swapped in a new 350 TBI after replacing all of the components in the cooling system (hoses, radiator, water pump) chasing down a heating issue. The TBI system needs some tuning, but it runs well enough that I drive it every day. It runs rich, and has a rough idle, and will occasionally bog when stepping on the gas. These are minor inconveniences and I drive it daily with no issues.

February 2012 I had the transmission rebuilt at AA Transmission off Colfax and I-70. As part of the rebuild they installed a new straight cut output gear, replacing the original one.

Rebuilt the throttle body this weekend and it's running much smoother.

How about $14K OBO?

Let's go back to the top. Put the half doors on this past weekend, will be putting on the bikini top this weekend. Will take some new pics then.

I've dropped the price to $13K. There are a couple of Boxsters in the area that I have my eye on...
