great build. Luv to see more info/pics on interior etc. (water, stove, heating, pipe work )
 
Was great reading this thread and dreaming of doing the same to my 100. One thought that I had was that the costs might come down a bit on fab if you use aviation methods and rivet together a topper instead of welding everything. Aviation fab techniques are water tight, and if you use solid rivets your strength is going to be pretty good.

I see those European 70s around and always wonder why we are lacking so bad in the pop top arena.
 
WOW!!!I’m really interested in putting together a Pop Top this is so cool.

a good option might be to fabricate a base to accept/mate with a stock RTT such as a GFC RTT.
