i've actually made friends with Joe from pirate4x4 and we have plans to ride at Moab this fall (along with a bunch of other folks) so i'll let yall know if i can figure this suspension stuff of his out

I've seen Joe's rig in person a couple of times. I believe he's just running hydro rams as the spring/shock... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's the idea.

Not exactly, i made some little coil over with hydros
This front shot should show you. there are accumilators in the front that allow the front to move freely. The cantilever shocks allows for greater travel

The rear has a swing arm thats red that attaches to the frame and to the coils it is not attached to the axle so the axle can fall away freely but on the road the swing arm comes in to affect by resting against the axle and gives the buggy suspension. The hydraulic rams are attached to the axle and rides against the swing arm the swing arm has a hole that the rams go throw so they can slide up against the swing arm and they slide out as needed. I can raze the rear at any time and it well have suspension.

Exactly what I mean man... I haven't said one negative thing about you or your rig but you seem to egg people on. I am not going to go any more detail on the issue positive or negative. I personally have no beef with you at all Joe.
