The horn parts ay be a little too rough for me, but I appreciate the extra photos. Re they just dirty or do you think they are pitted?

I think they are just dirty, so I will gently clean them up over the weekend and post new pics. Appreciate the feedback

These cleaned up pretty well actually. I hit the horn with about 20 seconds of brass wheel which I find much gentler on softer metal. I did a few areas so you can see it is in decent shape all over. Covers washed with a sponge and dish soap also look nice.

Nice. And you bench tested them already? I have bought several and I end up chasing acorn shells out of them for several weeks to get them to sound right. Squirrels must of loved these things.

Yes I bench tested that they make noise. Tuning them is another story haha. I read that the sound depends on the armature distance from contact plate. The horn is clear as far as I can see into it.
