This is what I ordered.

I'm looking forwward to seeing this go on your truck; were you given any ETA on when you'll get it? Funny story with that canopy for me. Tried ordering one from my local alucab dealer several times over a few months and was told it wasn't in production anymore, then called OK4wd (North American alucab distributer) and was told the same thing, then called alucab directly in South Africa who said they still produced them, then was able to place an order by paying in full, but that was 4 months ago and apparently know one knows what the ETA is anymore. All in all, it will be about a year turn around from the original date of inquiring to actually getting it (or more).

So, I'm super curious to hear how it's going for you as I do not believe there are many others in North America ordering the same item lol. Truck looks great by the way.

That's awesome to hear, I guess they've worked out some of the kinks by now haha. I'm guessing our canopies will be on the same container then; they offered to send a smooth finish canopy a bit earlier (maybe yours?) but I opted to wait to get the one I ordered. Making a custom one isn't a bad idea at all if takes too long. I toyed with that idea a lot before settling on the alucab to try and save some $$.

That's my 79 right now. Going to strip the interior this week to add sound deadening (2mm butyl mat + 1/4" mass loaded vinyl w/ decoupling layer) and replacing all the interior parts and seatbelts with new ones. Next on the list are some wiring fixes and stripping the frame for galvanizing.
