I'll have a spot when the turtle is out the hanger and back on its feet. It'll stay in the garage.

Your wife may actually have a heart attack if we put another rig over there! :ban:

Michael I look forward to seeing you at our next meeting. Besides talking to you by email I'm sure we met years ago when we tried starting the club here in Lafayette. I had just finished my frame off on my 70 FJ40 it was GTO Orange. I remember meeting at CC's pizza a couple times and it kind of died after that. I can't remember the Jewelers name that was trying to put it together but I worked on his light blue 71 FJ40 a couple times. Keep in touch we're a bit slower than I'd like but we're doing this club the right way and its been alot of fun. All of our paper work is complete to make us an official TLCA chapter for LA and should be voted in at the next TLCA meeting. I look forward to talking to you soon.

Yeah, I remember that club...and the blue 40 at the Jewelers....over near Albertson's on Johnston...there was a black FJ40 with parts pieced from all sorts of models...split case xfer, datsun air breather, etc...a super sweet 1980's model green one....anyway, that was long ago...at least 7 to 10yrs I'm sure...

BSLCA event news. Scott and I met and nice gentleman Sunday in New Iberia Johnny Beyts that has a few acres out in St Martinville. Its a beautiful quiet peice out in the country on the bayou. Johnny volunteered to let us hold a BBQ or Crawfish boil event there as long as we don't tear up his place. It was a very nice offer and we'll definitely take him up on that. Please be sure to thank him when you meet him as he will be attending our meetings when he can.

Its gonna be a busy, but great weekend. New rig, continue working on the suspension on the Turtle and the Super Bowl party. :) Are you gonna be able to give me a hand tomorrow, if your busy its no problem I just need to line someone up to help load the top on the trailer.

Finally going to have a weekend with some nice weather here, maybe I can get some work done on the cruiser

I know what you mean Jason the weather has been pretty s***ty here the last three weeks. We need a week of sun to dry the ground up a little, and so I can enjoy the new rig a couple days. Hope you get some wrenching time in.

I should be able to help out Larry. What time are you thinking?

I asked Marty about that the other day and forgot. I wanted to see if he can touch base with that guy again to see when the next time we can go meet with him. The bad thing is the next two weekends will be shot with Mardi Gras activities.

We go to New Orleans for these parades every year as they pass in front of my granparents house Fri, Sat, & Sun. Its safe for the kids with all the family there and they have a blast and catch a lot. Following weekend we'll be in town. We (You, Marty and the family)should get togehter then and catch a parade or so. I usually park at the office and walk accross the street to Albertsons and catch the parades there. It usually easy to get in and out there. Rebecca don't like to come so I usually take the kids and could use the company. :)

....Rebecca don't like to come .... :)

I think I'm w/ Rebecca on that one... but the kids love it so that sounds pretty good. Let me know when you know the specifics. I just have to be able to get out and can't get trapped. (someone is on call).

I'll tell the :princess: . Thanks
