Let me guess....you got the Orange 3/8" X 100' rope for $250 right?

I tried to buy one from them as well but they just wanted to talk me into the more expensive line and I didn't get a good vibe from them. That was around the time that I started that bust of a group buy for synthetic lines. I wound up with the 3/8" x 100' red rope and got it for $245 delivered if I remember right. Got it spooled on the winch last week but I will need to re-do it. I got it on tight but I know it's probably not tight enough. I will have to hook it to another rig and let it roll.

Nice and that's a good price from what I've seen, I wound up with the Orange 3/8 but went with the 85 FT instead. I was between the 85 and 100 and Woody suggested he runs the 85 FT rope on his rigs to get away from the long pulls so I went that way. I went with their fairlead as well. If I find myself running short with the tree saver and 20K tow strap I'll pick up one of their extensions to keep in the box :)

Yeah, I went back and forth on the 85' of 100' debate but I figured with 100' on the drum, just leave 2 wraps on instead of 1 when I get to those length pulls. And the m8000 is sure full with 100'. Definitely not much room for a bad wrap on the drum now.

Absolutely and a good point you can't go wrong with a little extra :) I don't think you can go wrong either way with the rope its lighter, stronger and safer whats not to like :D
