Yeah, fun Labor Day! I got bit by a snake. Turned out that it wasn't poisonous, but still scared the crap out of me!

Need some help I can't get S&S Coatings in Youngsville to return my calls and not sure if they closed up shop or changed phone numbers but I'm looking for a blasting and painting shop in Lafayette. Any suggestions? I'd like to make an appointment to drop off the new to me stinger bumper I got for the 80 tomorrow for blasting and painting. Thanks

We can now get two year inspection stickers on our used vehicles starting September 1st 2012
. You use to only be able to get a two year inspection sticker with a new vehicle. But now because of the new law all you have to do is ask for the two year sticker. One year sticker is $10, two years is $20.I don’t know about y’all but I sure like this new option….. The only people that can not get the two year sticker is New Orleans, Kenner, and Westwego.
EDIT.... There is a hitch, it is available for 2006 and newer models.

OK looking for some help here. I'm wanting a tent that I can set up on my double axle trailer after I unload the Toyota . The tent could only be about 6 feet wide but up to 18 feet long. Do they make such a tent?And have the door in the long portion of the tent. Post up a link if y'all know of one. Thanks

In 1986, Peter Davies was on holiday in Kenya after graduating from Louisiana State University .
On a hike through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air. The elephant seemed distressed, so Peter approached it very carefully. He got down on one knee, inspected the elephants foot, and found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it. As carefully and as gently as he could, Peter worked the wood out with his knife, after which the elephant gingerly put down its foot.
The elephant turned to face the man and with a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments. Peter stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being trampled. Eventually the elephant trumpeted loudly, turned and walked away. Peter never forgot that elephant or the events of that day.
Twenty years later, Peter was walking through the Chicago Zoo with his teenaged son. As they approached the elephant enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to near where Peter and his son Cameron were standing. The large bull elephant stared at Peter, lifted its front foot off the ground, then put it down. The elephant did that several times then trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.
Remembering the encounter in 1986, Peter could not help wondering if this was the same elephant.. Peter summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing and made his way into the enclosure. He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder. The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Peter legs and slammed him against the railing, killing him instantly.
Probably wasn't the same elephant.

I ordered a hitch and harness for my nephew's 2013 Tacoma on Monday and it will be in tomorrow. Half the price on what he was quoted locally but I understand they probably had a little labor in the cost to install it. Luckily he has a good uncle that can help him with that. I'm just celebrating the departure of that 05 Ford Super Crew I was always getting called to do roadside assistance on Only wrenching we'll do on the Taco is the fun mods since he has 6 years maintenance FREE

FYI, I did three days of reading on winch rope before I made up my mind. If your looking into winch rope Master Pull is a sponsored vendor and prices on their Amsteel Blue were reasonable so I asked for quote via email and PM on MUD, short story I saved the shipping cost when I stumbled on his ebay store vs buying it direct from him via the phone or on his website. I would have thought more highly of him if he would have just offered me free shipping. In the end he still got my business but I felt better saving the $10 on shipping
