Isaac what street and did you leave them a card?

Mike no worries! After further inspection that looks like a wasp!

Man this flooding is pretty crazy. I ean to know in advance hey, guess what all your stuff is going to be ruined. you house? gone. Its all going to be underwater.

I dont know if that wouldnt be worse knowing it is coming than to just have it happen. A bit nervous about my truck in paterson. looking at the map it looks like paterson is not projected to flood... but it is hard because they just have the town names listed and not the points where they are located. All in all it is a good week to be taking the tow rig to work rather than the mazda I think.

I hope that truck in Patterson makes it out alright!

I have a little dilemma, and need to be schooled on MUD etiquette. I started a "Wanted" thread in the main forum looking for Aisin Hubs. I jumped on the first deal to come across my PM box without seeing pictures of them. The guy is very reputable on the forum, but the Hubs are 50% more (money wise) and are described as "good shape with new gaskets and all hardware". So the question is, am I bound to purchase these because I said "I'll take them", or can I request pictures and possibly back out of the deal if I don't think they are worth the extra money?

I have to ask because my instinct is telling me "you can't do that", but my wallet is telling me "do it, do it".

After buying and selling stuff on the general forum I have found that the norm is, if you want the item, claim it by saying you will take it then request info / pictures and back out if you are not satisfied. Trying to be the nice guy, I have gotten screwed out of a couple of items because I wanted to get info / pictures first and not put the seller out only to have someone do just that to me. So, to answer your question, I see no problem with you requesting more info / pictures and then backing out if necessary.

...and the lesson that I've heard since a young'n and often rings true.. it's not so much what you say... it's HOW you say it.

Agree most MUD folks on here are good folks like us. Be up front on how you feel about the deal and if doesn't agree with you don't second guess backing out. I've bought and sold parts in here since joining MUD and I usually look there first especially at the parting out rigs. I've never had any bad experiences but have had some deal breakers due to shipping costs.

Thanks for all of the advice guys. I got him to send me a picture and they are as described and better than what everyone else has been sending. So I will be making the purchase.

Never saw that one before. Looks like they put jeep tail lights on it. What street?

It was on Orleans St. I did not leave a card, I don't have any. Let me know when y'all are in the area and I can show you after we eat lunch.:D

Lunch sounds great we just need to know when you are in town. Since ylur main home is more like a vacation home.
