Side note: wow! 300 pages of chat and BS! I think it's great we as a club get along good enough that we are able to acumulate that much conversations. Alot better that some places I have hung out at in the past where it is like it is just dead. Rawk on BSLCA!

X2 Josh like extended family. I can't think of any time when someone asked for help or advice and we didn't rise up to the occasion to help. That says a lot about the make up of our group :cheers:
 
Anyone been to pigeon forge or Gatlinburg area lately? Any advise on what to do and what not to miss out on? Note will have a 5 and 3 year old in tow. I how Dollywood but what else? thanks
 
Been 2 years since we went. Dollywood's water park was a kick but my kids were 7 & 11 at the time. Lots to do in Gatlinburg if you want to spend $$. We visited the Forbidden Caverns which was pretty cool but not sure how the 3 and 5 year olds would do. It's all under ground and it's fairly cold. We also did Wonderworks which is a neat place for kids and adults. It's in an upside-down house. All kinds of stuff to do in there. How long you gonna be there for?

Tons to do and plenty to see its a beautiful area. Is your group into the hiking and outdoors or looking to spend more time around town?

I wouldn't leave without going spend the day in Cades Cove, drive the loop stop at the halfway point and have a picnic, walk around and tour the old settlement and old mill. You may get to see a few bear usually out in the early am and late evening. You can drive it 10 million a year go through there, bike it or hike it.
Holden is doing a Jr Ranger program there this week :)

Also Roaring Fork road has similar scenery right outside of Gatlinburg and is a very nice ride. Plenty beautiful falls and creeks to see.

The kids will like Sugarlands vistor center they have most of the animals you can see in the park on display (in a museum setting) take the time to see the 20 min movie on the history of the park its defintiely worth your time. :)

I can go on and on, if you into the evening entertainment shows I can recommend a few. The kids would love the Wonder Works place. They have a really fun dinner show and alot fun things to play on afterwards
