But you need detailed plans to know how to get started. To convert a car is not difficult if you follow simple steps.

- You need a place to work, like a garage

- You need simple tools like saws, drills, wrenches, etc.

- Of course you'll need a truck to convert

- Last but not least a detailed truck conversion plan

A small truck would be very good to convert because they are light but still strong. They also have much space for the battery placement which small cars don't offer. And since the amount of the batteries is crucial for your effective range a small truck will be the perfect choice. But remember that you need a standard transmission truck to start. Automatic transmissions do not work with electric motors!

Recently we have completed a conversion on a Toyota Tacoma. That works very well!

Your new electric truck will travel around 50 mph and can keep up with almost any vehicle.

And also the range of over 200 miles will take you wherever you want to go. It's all outlined in the plan which I have bought.

The main parts of an electric car are the motor and the batteries. For our Toyota we have chosen an eleven inch Dc motor. And this power allows us to haul loads of firewood with our Tacoma. What the plan showed as also was a source where to get those deep cycle batteries that are needed in the truck. The plan shows even a free source of getting them. And since you need around twenty batteries this really helps to keep the cost down. And this is why you are doing it, right? You want to save money!

CAJUN VIRGIN

Clotile had just married and being a traditional Cajun Catholic, she was still a

virgin.

On her wedding night, staying at her mama's house, she was very nervous.

Her mama reassure her;" Don' worry, Clotile, Boudreaux's a good man. Go

upstairs and he'll take care of you. Meanwhile, I'll be making duh roux."

So, up she went. When she got upstairs, Boudreaux took off his shirt and exposed

his hairy chest.

Clotile ran downstairs to her mother and says, "Mama, Mama, Boudreaux's got duh

big hairy chess."

"Don't worry, Clotile," says duh mama, "all good mens have duh hairy chess. Go upstairs cher. He'll take good care of you.."

So, up she went again. When she got up in the bedroom, Boudreaux took off his pants, exposing his hairy legs. Again, ran Clotile downstairs to her mother. "Mama, Mama, Boudreaux took off his pants and he's got duh hairy leg!"

"Don't worry! All good mens have duh hairy leg. Boudreaux's a good man. Go upstairs and he'll take good care of you."

So, up she went again. When she got dare, Boudreaux took off his socks and on his

left foot he was missing tree toes. When Clotile saw dis, she ran downstairs. "Mama, Mama, Boudreaux's got a foot and a half!"

Her Mama said, "Stay here and stir the roux!"

I got this yesterday on my e-mail. That funny!

I got it on my e-mail to i almost spam it.

Thats what that was all about?

he could atleast filter it so that people who have incompatable cars dont get it. Although a carbon fiber dash kit for the 4runner would probably make the 4runner look alot more pimptastic.

Cub Scout Campout

Went to the Zoo of Acadiana last night with my son and his Scout troop. I packed most of my gear, but thought it might be like Mt. Bayou where you have to hump all the gear a mile into the site so I left some cooking essentials at home. I did count this as a test run for camping at Superlift and besides a clean up and organize of my camping equipment bag, all seems 100% ready to roll. Set up and take down was super fast.

One thing I did admire was this one dad's cooking set up. He had a custom built grill to put his dutch ovens on. This looks like something I need to invest in, both the stand and the dutch oven. He gave me some recipes and I want to try this out. I may bring my dad's dutch oven set to Superlift to cook breakfast for everyone in our group.
